What are the signs of Sensory Processing Disorder in children?

Sensory Processing Disorder

Children with SPD may refuse certain food textures, cover their ears at normal sounds, avoid being touched, crash into furniture for deep pressure, struggle with clothing seams, or have extreme reactions to bright lights. If your child consistently overreacts or underreacts to sensory input across two or more senses, request an OT assessment.
