FAQ

Can a school-based OT help with handwriting problems?

School-Based Occupational Therapy

Yes. Handwriting is one of the top reasons children see school-based OTs. They assess pencil grip, hand strength, letter formation, spacing, and writing speed. Most children show measurable handwriting improvement within 6 to 10 sessions. OTs also recommend pencil grips, slant boards, and adapted paper to support practice at school.
